Nagaon

Nagaon is a place where culture, history, and natural beauty blend seamlessly. Established in 1832, Nagaon has long been a prominent centre of administration, literature and socio-cultural movements in Assam. Nagaon is also the birthplace of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva, the saint reformer whose contributions shaped Assam’s spiritual and cultural identity.
