Kachakanti Mandir

Kachakanti Mandir in Silchar is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Dimasa Kachari Mother Goddess “Kachakanti”. It is one of the oldest temples of Cachar district which was established by the Kachari Kings. “Kachakanti” Devi is said to be the amalgamation of two powerful Hindu deities – Maa Durga and Maa Kali.
