Sukreswar Temple

The Sukreswar Temple is located right at the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva which was built by Ahom King, Pramatta Singha. Later, King Rajeswar Singha promoted the cause of the Siva cult and made huge donations and grants for the upkeep of the Sukreswar Temple. The temple attracts a large number of devotees especially during Shivratri.
