Tipam Fakial village also known as Tipam Phake village is located in Naharkatia of Dibrugarh district. The village of Tipam Phake encompassing a geographical area of 260.73 hectares was established in 1835 AD and the Tai Phake Buddhist monastery was established in 1850 AD. With a total population of 1420 in the village, one must note that the Tai Phake are generally Buddhists.
